FROZEN NORTH MUSIC (SOCAN) is a Canadian Music Publishing Company formed in July of 2001. The main objective of the company is to administer the songs and copyrights of songwriting partners, Bill Osmond and Dave Frolick. Our emphasis is mainly on all types of "COUNTRY MUSIC".

WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING A LIMITED AMOUNT OF OUTSIDE MATERIAL! If you feel that you have a "hit" song and would like to send it along for our consideration, kindly write or e-mail us for permission to submit. Please tell us a bit about yourself and where you are in your songwriting/music career. We prefer a maximum of 2-3 songs per submission. The songs should be of pitchable demo quality (with vocals out front) on a labeled CD only. Please include a typed lyric sheet with each song showing the name of each writer, a mailing and e-mail address, and the area code and telephone number at which you may be contacted. PLEASE NOTE that due to the time and costs involved, packages will not be returned unless sufficient return postage and a self addressed mailing envelope is included.

FROZEN NORTH MUSIC is currently working with a number of contacts in NASHVILLE, Tennessee and BRANSON, Missouri to help promote and establish our catalog in these two major music centres.

Our goal is to make this web site a place where A. & R. Representatives, Record Producers, Independent Recording Artists and other Publishers can come to find potential "Hit Songs".

BILL OSMOND:
Bill has been writing songs for a number of years and is currently a member of Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA), the Ontario Country Music Association (OCMA), the Canadian Musical Reproduction Rights Agency (CMRRA), the Songwriters Guild of America (SGA) and the Songwriters Association of Canada (SAC) as well as the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN).

DAVE FROLICK:
Dave has been writing songs since his teenage years (a long, long time ago) and is currently an active member of Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), Songwriters Guild of America (SGA), Songwriters Association of Canada (SAC), The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA), the Ontario Country Music Association (OCMA), the Canadian Musical Reproduction Rights Agency (CMRRA) and the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN).
